Estamos a penas a unas horas de culminar el año 2017. Un año, que como todos, nos ha traído alegrías y tristezas; éxitos y fracasos; muchos retos, pero también innumerables bendiciones. Con la inminente llegada de un nuevo año, regularmente, la mayoría de las personas, tomamos un tiempo para mirar hacia adelante y nos preguntamos que nos deparará el futuro. Contemplar el futuro, puede ser algo que nos llena de mucha alegría y expectativas, pero, también, puede ser algo que nos causa ansiedad y hasta temor. Para algunos, el futuro puede ser que parezca estar lleno de oportunidades, pero para otr@s, el futuro, se les presenta lleno de retos y complicaciones. Entonces, ante la incertidumbre sobre el futuro (con sus oportunidades y retos), es muy importante que como discípulos de Jesucristo, asumamos la actitud correcta . Puede ser que no podamos hacer mucho para cambiar las circunstancias que tenemos que enfrentar en la vida, pero, LA ACTITUD con la que las enfrentamos - HACE UNA

Something very peculiar about the stories that John shares with us is that he tells us much of Jesus' ministry through the encounters Jesus had with different people, just like you and me. Through these different encounters we can learn very special and important things about who Jesus is and what He can be for us, if we believe. Mateo 6:24-34 : La Biblia, en el evangelio según Mateo 6:24-34, nos lleva a considera uno de los principios más profundos y de mayor repercusión en nuestro caminar de fe. Lo más seguro la mayoría de nosotros/as, ya hemos escuchado mensajes sobre este pasaje, o hemos participado en algún estudio bíblico donde el mismo era el centro de la conversación. Incluso, pudiera ser que haya algunas personas que ya estén pensando que les voy a hablar de dinero, de ofrendas, de compromiso, o de prioridades, etc. Y, la realidad es que la enseñanza de Jesús en Mateo muy bien podemos aplicarla a estas áreas que son tan importantes en nuestro caminar como discípulos/as Jesucristo, pero, creo que en vez de limitarme a una aplicación, hoy quisiera que viéramos este texto desde una perspectiva más amplia y más profunda.
